АBOUT FACULTY
The faculty was founded in 1945 as "Land management" under the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers (TIIAME). The faculty has been operating since 2004 under the name of Land Use and Land Cadastre. It is a single faculty which prepares a highly qualified specialists in Land use, land cadastre, geodesy and cartography inagriculture and water resources.
The first head of the department was docent M.Maslov. Thenthe department was headed byprofessor P.Tatur, docents J.Karmanov, V.Artamonov, A.Nazirov, A.Abdurazzoqov, later by professor O.Ramazonov, docent Q.Rahmonov and professor S.Avezbaev. Since 2011 it has been headed by docent Z.Mukimov.
In the structure of the faculty there was only one department, department of geodesy. In last years there were establishedthe departments of Land use, projecting and development of agricultural territories, aerophotogeodesy, Land useand its interelations, Land cadastre and cartography.
At the present, the faculty has the departments of Land Use, Geodesy and Geoinformatics, State Cadastre and Higher Mathematics. Since 2004 it has been namedafter "Land Use and Land Cadastre".
Experieced teachers of the departments asprofessors A.Chertovitsky, S.Avezbaev, B.Hudoyorov, Sh.Narimov, docents Q.Rahmonov, Z.Mukimov, I.Musaev, O.Kucharov, O.Bobojonov, T.Ergashev and others are teaching students there.
The faculty is actively cooperating with State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan and its institutions on the purpose of informing the students, developing technical base of thedepartment, and also organizing the education and practice in land resources, Geodesy, Cartography and State Cadastre of Land and Cadastr of Geodesy and Cartography.
